He commissioned and operated several nuclear power plants and currently operates the Karachi Nuclear Power Plant (KNPP) and Chashma Nuclear Power Plant (CNPP). Integrated nuclear fuel cycle is another PAEC-developed capability that encompasses uranium enrichment and plutonium production.

- Qualifications: To apply, candidates need to possess any of the following qualifications: BE/BSc, MSc, Matric with DAE in a relevant field, Matric with Science, FA/FSc with a Recognized Board.
- Age Limits: All the above positions have an age limit of 18 to 35 years on the Portal closing date of applications.

- All appointments shall be made on a “Contract” basis for 5 years may be renewed in subsequent years until the age of 60 years on Superannuation 1, e., retirement.
- Candidates who have the qualifications of the 1st Division. Class in the final degree will only be accepted if they hold a single 2nd class degree among the entirety of their academic history, starting from Matric.
- A first-class degree is considered to be a minimum of 60% marks for the annual system or CGPA 2.5 out of 4.0 for the semester system, a second-class degree is a minimum of 50% marks for the annual system or CGPA 2.0 out of 4.0 for the semester system.
- It is mandatory for all Candidates that the Certificates/Diplomas Degrees must be from a recognized Government. Institutions.
